In this session, we will explore what is causing a public health crisis in communities across the globe, adverse childhood experiences (ACE's). By the end of the session, you will understand: The architecture of the brain and how it is developed The long-term effects of a dysregulated stress response system on our health (physical, emotional, mental, etc.) as well as how to mitigate those effects Intergenerational trauma The behaviors associated with a dysregulated stress response system in the classroom as well as the tools/techniques to address those behaviors In order to impact the most families and help them find health, happiness, and healing despite their trauma, we must collaborate and face trauma head-on. If you are feeling empowered and inspired to create change in your community, join me on this journey, you have chosen the right session.
